By making a booking or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from booking or utilizing our services.
1. DEFINITIONS & THE PARTIES

"Homestay / We / Us / Our" refers to Yasmin Homestay JB, its owners, and authorized representatives.

"Guest / You / Your" refers to the person making the booking and all individuals accompanying them during the stay.

"Property" refers to the physical premises of Yasmin Homestay located in Johor Bahru (JB), Malaysia.
2. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT POLICY
2.1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking.
2.2. Booking Guarantee: A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the deposit or full payment as specified during the booking process, and upon issuance of a formal booking confirmation email/WhatsApp by Us.
2.3. Payment Methods: All rates are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia (MYR). Payments must be made via local online banking (FPX) or other approved methods designated on our website.
2.4. Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of RM [Insert Amount, e.g., RM100 - RM200] is required upon or before check-in. This deposit will be refunded within [e.g., 24 to 48 hours] after check-out, subject to a satisfactory property inspection ensuring no damage, missing items, or violations of house rules.
3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
In accordance with fair trade principles under the Consumer Protection Act 1999:

Force Majeure: If the booking must be canceled due to events beyond control (e.g., natural disasters, government-enforced restrictions), an alternative date or full refund will be offered.
4. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

5. HOUSE RULES & GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure safety, public decency, and compliance with Malaysian local council laws, guests must adhere to the following rules:

6. LIABILITY, DAMAGE, AND LOSS
6.1. Damage to Property: Guests are financially liable for any damage caused to the property’s structure, furniture, fixtures, smart lock systems, or appliances during their stay. Costs for repair or replacement will be deducted from the security deposit. If the cost exceeds the deposit, the lead guest agrees to pay the remaining balance.
6.2. Loss of Valuables: Yasmin Homestay JB shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to the guests' personal belongings, valuables, or vehicles parked at the property.
6.3. Personal Injury: Guests use the homestay facilities at their own risk. We do not accept responsibility for any personal injuries, accidents, or illnesses sustained during the stay.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & WEBSITE USE
All content on https://yasminhomestayjb.com/, including logos, images, text, and booking software, is the property of Yasmin Homestay JB. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution of this content is prohibited and protected under the Copyright Act 1987.
8. PRIVACY POLICY & DATA PROTECTION (PDPA 2010)
By providing your personal data (Name, MyKad/Passport number, phone number, email, and payment details), you consent to Yasmin Homestay JB processing your information in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Your data will strictly be used for booking management, identity verification, and communication regarding your stay, and will never be sold to third parties.
9. TERMINATION OF STAY
We reserve the right to immediately terminate the stay of any guest and require them to vacate the property without a refund if they violate any of these Terms, engage in behavior that causes distress or danger to neighbors, or damage the property.
10. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia.
